Golden Horizons

Space test with particle systems.
The rings are made with more "layers" of textures, rocks and sand.
Ok, the effect doesn't seems so realistic (rocks are too big) but I could say: hey! this is not Saturn it's only a giant gas planet with shining golden rings.

Every drawing is a new experience… and I'm still learning.

Done entirely with 3ds max (I used Photoshop to add title and logo only)

Cercando di far fondere il processore con i sistemi particellari… ma, file vecchio e computer nuovo, non è successo niente.

Comunque, per snellire il calcolo, gli anelli sono stati realizzati sovrapponendo più layer di texture, rocce, particelle e bla bla bla
Anche se l'effetto non è il massimo del realismo (rocce troppo grandi) immaginate che da qualche parte, tra le mille stranezze dell'universo, ci sia un gigante gassoso così; e con gli anelli dorati pure!
